Johnny Green, with TheWeedBlog is promoting the Silver Tour–a way of “educating” senior citizens and mainstream voters about marijuana.
With petition drives to legalize marijuana underway in Arkansas and Florida, Green claims to be negotiating TV schedules for daily broadcasts of “Should Grandma Smoke Pot?”
“Seniors and mainstream voters in so many states are still in the dark as to the truth about cannabis,” Green said. On his blog, Green makes an appeal, “Please help us end cannabis prohibition everywhere…”
Legalizing marijuana is still a very bad idea, but I have to give Johnny Green credit for his honesty: At least he’s not hiding behind sick people by calling his efforts “medicine.” He’s not afraid to say what others believe but won’t say: These “medical” marijuana efforts are nothing more than an effort to, as Green said, “end cannabis prohibition everywhere.”
