As you know, the U.S. Senate passed President Obama’s health care plan on Christmas Eve. As we were spending time with our families, this government-takeover of our health care got one step closer to becoming law. We also moved one step closer to the first-ever mandatory abortion tax, according to Dr. Charmaine Yoest, President of Americans United for Life.
Dr. Yoest writes: “Under Majority Leader Reid’s amendment, ALL individuals who participate in plans in the Exchange that include elective abortion coverage, even if they do so unwittingly, will directly pay part of their own premiums into an account that pays for nothing but elective abortions.”

It is ironic and terrible that while we celebrated the birth of Christ as a helpless baby, the Senate passed a bill that would use our tax dollars to kill helpless babies.
